DEFINING YOUR BODY DIRECTION
Men will be one of three different body types/directions: Triangular, Rectangular, Contoured.
Triangular Body Shape
- Broad shoulders
- Small waist.
- Tapered ribcage
- Narrow hips.
Jackets
- Little or no padding on shoulders
- Wide or peaked lapels
- Single breasted three button
- Double breasted one button
Trousers
- Double pleat with belt.
- Slim -fit.
- Tapered leg.
Rectangular Body Shape
- Straight ribcage: Shoulders, Waist, Hips - all similar measurements
Jackets
- Define shoulders with use of padding.
- Single/double breasted
- Notched/peak lapels.
Trousers
- Single pleats.
- Regular-fit
- Straight leg
- Side adjustors or belt
Contoured Body Shape
- Sloping Shoulders
- Fuller Waist
- Rounded hips/tum
- Wide ribcage
Jacket
- Moderate padding.
- Notched lapels
- Single breasted.
Trousers
- Flat-front.
- Relaxed-fit
- Straight leg
- Belt or side adjustors.
